Sport brings
community together.
A lively table tennis tournament at the Batiovo Cultural Center — organized by our local partner Tabula Rasa for the Future Generation — showing how donated sports equipment brings light into everyday life.
The Tournament
A fun and
energetic afternoon.
The matches were full of excitement, playful competition, and sportsmanship. Seeing participants cheer each other on reminded us why events like this matter: sport connects people, promotes healthy activity, and strengthens community.
Children, adults, and everyone in between who loves the game came together for an afternoon that proved how powerful local initiatives and partnerships can be.
Even with a modest number of participants, the day showed the real impact of the sports equipment donated through our programs — it’s not just equipment, it’s a tool for connection, joy, and resilience in a community affected by conflict.

A particular highlight was seeing Professor Ferenc Krausz, founder of Science4People supported by Together for Others, join the games personally. His participation demonstrated his commitment to the mission and inspired everyone present.
It showed that being part of a community and having fun together is just as important as competition — and that support for Ukraine’s communities comes in many forms, from equipment donations to simply showing up and playing.
